Good Friday speaks of the sacrifice that gave birth to redemption and the gateway to our salvation.
But considering what the second person in the God-head gave up to be with us, it is clear that his entire life was a sacrifice and His willing death was just another sacrifice on long list of sacrifices.
There are those who have given up a lot to be what we needed them to be so that we could become what we needed to be.
Good Friday is a good opportunity to actively show gratitude to those who have made sacrifices to get us to where we are.
Let us take the time to say thank you for sacrifices of God and men. One good way to start is to say “THANK YOU.”
By the way, if you haven’t seen The Passion of The Christ, now would be a good time.
